Price: $50/8th, $100/quarter
Looks: Very dense and long, thin nuggets. Light green with little brown-amber hairs that look like worms eating through an apple. Up close the nuggets look wild and are absolutely coated in gooey trichomes.
Smell: Sweet, fruity, sour and piney. A little like Sour D but vaguely like a sweet blue raspberry version.
Taste: Mildly fruity and sour smooth inhale. Slightly heavier exhale with more fruity, piney, hazy flavor. Generally very smooth and pleasant smoke.
Buzz Type: Toking on this, you’ll feel it creep up your shoulders and into your core pretty quickly. It floods you with a relaxing, mild electric energy and gentle euphoria. The body high is forgiving enough to allow you to enjoy the active sativa as well. Creative, energetic, and insightful.
Good for social situations or pain. While it may not completely dull the pain, it’s good for a lovely distraction. It can get kind of conceptual and psychedelic in higher doses so be aware of your limits depending on your smoking situation.
Buzz Length: Medium – Long. 2-3 hours after a joint. No come-down at all. LOVE IT! You’re gently placed back into sobriety by your herbal captor without any bumps or bruises. If only all bud could treat us so nicely.
Overall: Wonderful strain. Looks great. Smells great. Tastes great. Smooth on your lungs. Kind to your mind. I’ve had Blue Dream a couple times before and it’s always been a top favorite along with Headband. If you come across this strain and it looks good, definitely try it. Name: LA Confidential
Genetics: OG LA Affie x Afghani

Grade: A
Type: Hybrid
Price: $7/gram – all the way up.
Looks: Very pretty! Tight ass golf ball nugs that are white/gold with tiny trichs and scattered with hints of purple. Pistils are brown and wiry. Great bag appeal with a unique growth structure made apparent by a wonderful trim job. Nugs are dry but cured well
Smell: Upon opening the bag, the smell is very sour. If you leave the bag open in a room, the smell is very skunky and sour (strong kush smell). When you bust up a nug, the smell is more of a sweet pine smell.
Taste: Sweet, piney Froot Loops, at first. After a few hits when you near the end of the bowl, the taste turns sharp and skunky. I liked that. The smoke was very thick and harsh, and made me cough a bit. I think I would have liked this more out of a bong.
Buzz Type: The buzz hits pretty quickly and hard. Clear but trippy, focused head buzz that was great for writing reviews accompanied by a strong (but not couch locking) body buzz. One thing that I really like about this strain was the euphoric element it had. I found it great for depression and anxiety. I also found this strain goes right to my stomach. If you need to eat, this is your stuff. If you smoke too much, it is also good for sleep.
Buzz Length: Medium – Long. 1.5 – 2 hours smoked out of a regular glass spoon, I bet you could tag another hour on at least with a bong or blunt.
Overall: Strong medicine (although not sure if it’s in the same league as Strawberry Diesel or White Russian) that is sure to please even the pickiest of smokers. If it was possible to grade a bud between A and A+, that is where this would fit. It was amazing, but just below the cut-off for the plus. I think had this been stickier or smoother hitting, it would have gotten an A+ despite the price being so cheap. I find the more strains I smoke, the harder it is to give away A+’s. Looks: Massive rock hard buds that just looked like purple and green cones. There are as many hairs on this bud as there is trichs.
Smell: Not much of a smell at all. Just a floral purple smell.
Taste: Taste is good. Very deep and heavy hits. Just an all around purple taste to it.
Buzz Type: Instant stoned. Body buzz is very relaxing and easy to knock yourself out on.
Buzz Length: Long. 3 hours or so.
